January 5, 2026

ALLEGHENY COUNTY - Rep. Valerie Gaydos (R-Allegheny) announced today Moon Township and Sewickley Borough will receive a combined $422,960 in state funding through the Green Light-Go Program to upgrade aging traffic signal equipment and improve roadway safety and traffic flow.

“These upgrades will make a real difference for drivers, pedestrians, school busses and children walking to school, as well as our emergency responders who rely on these intersections every day,” said Gaydos. “Modern signal technology improves safety, reduces congestion and helps traffic move more efficiently. I’m pleased to see these investments directed toward practical infrastructure improvements that support our communities and local economies.”
