Gaydos to Participate in Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 Whistle Stop in Leetsdale

WHAT: Rep. Valerie Gaydos (R-Allegheny), a commissioner on the Pennsylvania Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial (America250PA), will participate in Leetsdale Borough's celebration of the historic visit of Union Pacific’s Big Boy No. 4014. During the event, Gaydos will present a Pennsylvania House of Representatives citation recognizing the borough for hosting a Big Boy No. 4014 whistle stop.
WHO: Gaydos (R-Allegheny); Leetsdale Borough Mayor Sandra Ford; Leetsdale Borough Council President Maria Napolitano; and Leetsdale Borough Fire Chief Wes James.
WHEN: Saturday, July 11, program from 5:30-6 p.m.
Anticipated arrival of Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 at 6:15 p.m.
WHERE: Henle Park, 373 Beaver St., Leetsdale. The viewing location will be at Ferry Street Railroad Crossing near the Subway.
MEDIA PARKING: Reserved media parking is available next to the Subway sandwich shop at Ferry Street and Ohio River Boulevard. Media must contact the Leetsdale Borough Office at 724-266-4820 in advance to be placed on the media parking list and reserve a parking space.
NOTE: Train arrival and departure times are subject to change. The anticipated departure of Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 is 6:45 p.m.
